Leo season is the time of year where we are invited to bask in the warm solar rays of summer. This fiery sign’s creative abilities ignite within us feelings of passion and desire. Leo asks us to get in touch with our inner child and play. As children, we were able to instantly manifest whatever we desired by using our imagination and play pretend. If you wanted to be an astronaut, poof you were suddenly flying a spaceship, or maybe you desired to be a superhero and fly, bam you were soaring through the sky. Our imaginations were so powerful back then that whatever pretend game we were playing, became our reality.
That ability to create our desires is the gift of Leo. Every year the sun spends 30 days in this sign. Annually, during this 30-day visit, there is both a New Moon in Leo and a Full Moon in Aquarius. Just like every year during the 30 days the sun visits Aquarius, there will be a New Moon in Aquarius and a Full Moon in Leo. All signs do this with the sign they share polarity with. Leo is known for creating and Aquarius is known for granting wishes. That being said, there are two powerhouse lunar events coming up with lots of potential for turning desires into a reality and having wishes granted. Plus, Mercury will be going retrograde from Virgo back into Leo, giving us an opportunity to spend some time reevaluating exactly what it is we wish to manifest!
